In-Depth cardboard sculpture

These 2 on top are mini samples on what I thought should look like when I expand it. 

This was my process of wetting the cardboard and creating that texture for some of my shapes.

This in-depth was very hard (complex). I started out with my silhouettes and continued by playing with cardboard, since I have never used cardboard. The representation of the bottom part is to show how humans grow. We start as babies which is the flower bulb at the bottom and in our own little protected home (box/cube) and then we start peeling out as we get older. The top represents when we are adults, that we know who we are or who we want to be. I did incorporate some of my shapes. I am disappointed about it falling apart on my way to class but I did learn a lot from this project.
