Prose/Poetry small work

My Walk Out was Interesting

My walk out was interesting
The sun was shinning
The palm trees were dancing
in a row
The day was bright
The sky was light
It was blue one day and grey the next
And yet it always stayed blank
No white cotton balls anywhere in sight
It was beautiful and delightful
But there was a touch of eerie
The wind was blowing
so roughly that my body would be pushed
It was a cool breeze forcing me to walk down
This pathway
This pavement
And the lark sparrows
were whistling
The many different cars were loud
But yet it was all so peaceful
you see blue and white twin engine piston planes up above
soaring the sky so gently.
So much movement here and there
from one direction to the other
And yet no one was there

My walk out was interesting

  1. But where was the speaker walking? It could have been anywhere--how can you bring a specific place into this?
What kind of trees, birds, vehicles? What did the winfd feel like--humid, dry, warm, chilly?

    1. May I fix my poem by adding those specific details?
