FIU Wolfsonian Museum

This Outside Visit was inspiring and amazing. I loved everything in it. There was so many designs, patterns, ornaments and antiques. It was amazing how Tony Garner did the city plan, he had such a vivid idea. It was so specific and detailed. It is so inspiring how he produced about several hundred plans. This section fits perfectly into this Landscape topic because of the floor plans he made and the drawings he made of the industrialization.
When you really look at his art work you can see the very specific details. I like how his floor plans and drawings are imaginary and ideal. Even though all his drawings it looks like a real place, its beautiful. I also love how he actually made a city plan and how he put a magnifying glass so you can actually pay attention to it. I loved this museum it was fascinating.

In the 20th century there was a lot of economical problems. There were diseases and environmental degradation which inspired artists to help change the world and Tony was one of them. His architectural plannings were inspired by science fiction, classical ruins and the principles of design. He produced so many plans to make France at that time a better place. He even rejected the chance to study ancient monuments to continue to develop the Cite Industrielle.

  1. I'm very pleased that you found the Wolfsonian inspiring; I agree! However, the writing for both of these visits (Parker included) is insufficient. You need to write two full paragraphs specifically about the work in the exhibitions.
